Vision Australia purchased 41 acres of land on Burwood Highway in 1951 for a school, which opened in 1959. Formerly known as The Royal Victorian Institute of the Blind, the school had closed down in 2009. Now the site is replaced by Greenwood Business Park, and also a large housing development.

Beautiful landscapes with a creek running through the middle, and a view of the city skyline, makes this a destination worth a visit.
